Energy efficiency measures

Three key measures to reduce energy consumption and increase the use of renewable energy.

The project involved the construction of a solar power plant, replacement of the existing lighting with energy-efficient LED lighting, and installation of a reactive power compensation system.

These measures help improve the production facility’s energy efficiency, reduce energy consumption and increase the use of renewable energy sources.

47,88%
projected savings in delivered energy for the production facility
The projected savings significantly exceed the minimum requirement of a 20% reduction in delivered energy consumption compared with the baseline before the measures were implemented.

Operational Programme Competitiveness and Cohesion 2014–2020

The project was implemented under Priority Axis 4, “Promoting energy efficiency and renewable energy sources”, Investment Priority 4b and the specific objective of increasing energy efficiency and the use of renewable energy sources in manufacturing industries.

The project contributes to the objectives of the Energy Efficiency Directive (2012/27/EU), national energy efficiency strategies and efforts to encourage investment in renewable energy sources.
