Powered and gravity roller conveyors
Roller conveyors are material-handling systems used in almost all manufacturing industries. They are primarily designed to transport individual items and palletized goods.
Roller conveyors are generally classified as powered or non-powered. They can be installed horizontally or at an incline, including gravity-fed configurations.
In powered roller conveyors, the rollers are driven by a geared motor through a chain transmission system.
The appropriate roller conveyor is selected based on transport requirements and the type, weight and dimensions of the goods being handled.
