In December 2020, Promid d.o.o. completed the Increasing Energy Efficiency and the Use of Renewable Energy Resources project. The total project value was HRK 1,193,835.10, of which EU co-funding was HRK 816,725.81.

Project management
The project was carried out in accordance with the Operational Programme Competitiveness and Cohesion 2014-2020, Priority Axis 4 Promoting Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy Sources, Investment Priority 4b Increasing Energy Efficiency and Use of Renewable Energy Sources in the Commercial Sector, and Specific Objective 4c1 Increasing Energy Efficiency and Use renewable energy sources in manufacturing industries.
The project contributes to achievement of the objectives of the Energy Efficiency Directive (2012/27 / EU), the Long-Term Strategy for Encouraging Investments in the Reconstruction of the National Building Fund of the Republic of Croatia and the Third National Energy Efficiency Action Plan.
The project consists of three measures related to the construction of a solar power plant, which will replace the existing lighting system with energy efficient LED technology and implementation of reactive energy compensation system which will increase energy efficiency and the use of renewable energy sources.
The projections of savings in delivered energy are:

The projected savings of delivered energy meet the sector-specific criteria defined by the ref. no. KK.04.1.1.01, which support the implementation of energy efficiency measures and / or measures for the use of renewable energy sources that will lead to a reduced consumption of delivered energy for at least 20%. If the project also includes energy renovation measures for buildings accompanying the production plant, which are exclusively related to production processes for industrial and / or production purposes (such as office buildings, production floors, etc.), energy efficiency measures and installation of equipment for use renewable energy sources should lead to a reduction in the consumption of supplied energy for heating / cooling of at least 40% compared to the consumption of supplied energy before the implementation of the measures.
