Upgrading and equipping the production line 2026

Project value:

~2.279.830.58 €

EU co-funding:

~995.000,00 €

The aim of the project is to improve energy and resource efficiency, enabling the company to adapt more quickly to environmental requirements, reduce its negative impact on the climate and the environment, enhance the sustainability of production, create new jobs, and thereby strengthen PROMID's competitiveness.

New production line equipment

Painting booth
Compressor
Shot blasting booth
Solar power plant expansion

The project involved the extension of the production facility for manufacturing conveyor equipment, providing dedicated space for shot blasting and painting operations (surface finishing). With an additional 1,483 m² of floor space, the entire ground-floor production area has been functionally integrated into a single production unit.

The new production area has been equipped with state-of-the-art, energy-efficient and technologically advanced machinery for painting and shot blasting operations, including a painting booth with an integrated conveyor system, a shot blasting booth with an integrated conveyor system, and a compressor.

In addition, the project included the expansion of a solar power plant with a capacity of 97.2 kW, which is expected to save 54,732 kWh of electricity annually and reduce CO₂ emissions by 8.70 tonnes per year.

The main challenge addressed by the project is the company's limited competitiveness and restricted growth in its target markets due to resource-inefficient and technologically outdated production processes.

The aim of the project is to improve energy and resource efficiency, enabling the company to adapt more quickly to environmental requirements, reduce its negative impact on the climate and the environment, enhance the sustainability of production, create new jobs, and further strengthen PROMID's competitiveness.

The project is expected to achieve a 44.65% reduction in primary energy consumption, a 53.07% share of renewable energy in gross final energy consumption, a 62.45% reduction in CO₂ emissions, an 8.50% reduction in resource consumption per unit of output, and the creation of 10 new jobs.
