Promid has gained a reputation by meeting the contracted agreements in the manufacture, installation, and maintenance of transport equipment. Metal processing and equipment maintenance across a variety of industries require expertise and teamwork.
Safety requirements are present in every activity and daily task.
Every employee takes responsibility for their own safety and the management acts proactively and preventively to eliminate the risks and improve safety across the processes. The Management Board emphasizes that the successful implementation of safety and health protection in workshops and construction sites highly contributes to the business results and reputation of the company. Therefore Promid:
- proactively approaches to health and safety measures because the health and safety of workers comes first
- uses ISO 45001 standards as tools for continuous improvement
- manages safety and health risks and all their effects
- considers Health and Safety Policy as a permanent framework for establishing and revising objectives
Management is ready to constantly comply with legal and other requirements in order to eliminate and effectively monitor the risks and reduce all risk effects. We consider legal and other requirements as a basic aid in our policy to increase safety.
To achieve this, the management cannot be alone and will therefore use practical solutions, knowledge, and best practices. In addition, the company will always provide equipment that is reliable and safe.
Since our products need to be safe for operation by users, the HRN EN ISO 12100 standard has been applied as the essential precondition for compliance with the basic relevant requirements of the Directive 2006/41 / EC on machinery through:
- identification of basic risks
- identification of basic risks by product life cycle phases and
- identification of basic risks by possible dangerous situations
The risk analysis results are applied in design and development processes.
In order to ensure a safe work environment and conditions, we make an elaborate plan for each site and we will review it with other stakeholders at the joint facility.
The greatest risks to health and safety arise from non-compliance with safety rules for working with equipment and tools, physical strain, and exposure to the working environment due to the natural microclimatic conditions on the construction site. Improper behavior and insufficient safety awareness can significantly increase work risks.
The management is constantly working on special safety measures at work and will not leave anyone deprived of knowledge of safety and health protection.
In accordance with the Safety Policy, the Management Board will continuously assess non-compliance that increases the risk and improve the conditions and processes by using the resources and technology and correcting behavior.
This policy will be periodically reviewed and harmonized with the requirements of business policy, quality policy, and environmental policy.
